Will it help if he can barely stand on his own?
Yes. The padded sling takes his weight from underneath, so you do the lifting and he doesn't have to push up. For dogs with weak or unsteady back legs, it carries the load while you guide him up the stairs, into the car or off the couch. (For full paralysis or a specific condition, check with your vet first.)
Can he wear it all day?
It's built for the moments he needs a hand — getting up, stairs, the car, walks — not 24/7 wear. The breathable neoprene is comfortable for long walks, but slip it off when he's resting so his skin can breathe.
Is it easy to keep clean?
Very. Spot-clean or hand-wash in cold water with a little mild soap, then air-dry. The neoprene shrugs off mud and the odd accident.
What if he's between two sizes?
